With the launch of our Autumn/Winter 2017 range of soy wax candles just a few days away we're getting the party started a little early by revealing our brand new logo.
Having our logo re-designed has been on the to-do list since the beginning of the year but with a busy spring and summer taking on new wholesale accounts it just kept slipping further and further down the list. However, we were delighted to finally have some time to commit to the project this month and are absolutely over the moon with the results.
The playful, emotive illustrations and designs of Ryn Frank have been the subject of hours Pinterest and Instagram scrolling and we couldn't think of anybody we'd rather task with the job.
Ryn's ability to capture plants, seeds and animals in her signature style caught our imagination and after pondering which plant would best adorn the top of our logo we had a lightbulb moment and settled on a sprig of soybean plant.
The broad leaves and cute bean pods add just to right amount of fun to the design whilst also telling the story of our main ingredient. We love the friendly, handwritten font which we hope makes our brand feel approachable and accessible to everybody. We also thought it important to re-emphasise that all of our candles are hand poured. That includes every single little tealight, oil burner melt and of course our reclaimed candles.
